EXPERIENCE

1992  -  Present  -   CEO, Studio Arts Productions,

1997  -  1999   -   Managing Director, Michigan Shakespeare Festival

1986 - 1992  -  Head Writer/Producer, All Media Productions. 

Responsibilities:  Research; scriptwriting; producing; directing  film, video,

and interactive CDs.   Conceive, design and execute video based

educational programs for national school market.

  

1980 - 1986  -  Head, Drama Department, Michigan School of the Arts.  

Responsibilities:  Teaching; administration of theatre department and

related facilities;  directing stage plays;  hiring and supervision of drama

department faculty and staff.

1975 - 1980 -  Head of the Michigan School of the Arts; oversee curriculum

design;  create marketing plan,  scholarship program;  hire faculty and staff; 

recruit students,  teach drama classes.

Worked on legislation for Michigan Department of Education concerning

teacher standards in the arts.  Consulted on the design of the Potter Center,

a three theatre complex on the campus of Jackson College.  Served on

the board of the Michigan Community College Theatre Association.   

Created innovative award winning educational videos.   Have written several

plays which have been produced.  Attended graduate school at Michigan

State University, and was a playwright fellow at the University of Wisconsin

under Dale Wasserman, playwright/producer of Man of La Mancha, and One Flew Over

The Cuckoo's Nest.
